The Benz C.A.M.P. (Computer Assisted Maintenance Program) Solution

The exclusive BENZ/C.A.M.P., or Computer Assisted Maintenance Program, was founded on the idea that the solution to a complex program is not necessarily a complex answer. This concept helped us to develop a flexible and real world solution to lubrication maintenance program.

The BENZ/C.A.M.P. combines computer technology and Benz Oil expertise to assist the logistics and control of lubrication maintenance in almost any manufacturing plant-even those where access to a computer is difficult or entirely unavailable. The program can be implemented readily without additional manpower or equipment and with minimal employee training.

The BENZ/C.A.M.P. solution can be implemented in your facility with the following three steps:

1. The BENZ Survey — Here we survey the plant's equipment, layout and lubrication maintenance requirements, including current lubrication costs and programs.
   
2. BENZ inputs data — After the survey the information is entered into our computer and analyzed.
   
3. Start using the program — After the data is compiled, Benz is ready to work on providing you the best solution for your plant.

The output provided includes:

• A list of machines to check every day.
• A logical machine-to-machine route to follow.
• A list of lubrication points to be checked on each piece of equipment, which lubricant to use and the method of application.
• A list of other maintenance points which should be checked as part of that day's routine.
• A "comments" section on the worksheet where other maintenance needs can be noted.
